Challenge:
With a proven service offering within the UK, but needing to scale up and increase it's profitability, international expansion was selected as the company's growth strategy. The challenge was to select those countries that offered the greatest rapid return on investment, while working within the confines of limited resources.
Approach:
A three month part-time project, this required the Digital Works Consulting consultant to create a worldwide market evaluation and selection solution, quickly and perfectly aligned to Ukash's market factors, augmented by a common process to facilitate rapid market entry, all with limited investment support. By working closely with the management team to understand the regulatory and deployment challenges faced by this unique service in various regions, the consultant was able to create a weighted model highlighting market potential versus market challenge, all supported by publicly available data. This enabled the team focus with great precision which markets to choose and prioritise first. In addition, the fragmented process for market entry was rationalised, to ensure consistency and speed.
